I-PRESSĀ® SUGGESTED MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
ONLY PERFORMED BY AUTHORIZED MAINTENANCE TEAM LOCK OUT - TAG OUT
DAILY
1) Prior to starting press do a complete walk around, look & listen and document anything that seems out of place.
2) No obstructions in die area.
3) Area around press is clean.
4) Point of operations guards are in place with proper function.
5) Confirm main oil tank and lube tanks are at proper oil level and oil is clean.
6) Inspect all hydraulic systems, cylinders, tanks & manifold to assure no leaks are present.
7) Start press at main electrical panel, look, listen and confirm all systems are operating.
8) Confirm lubrication is present on slide guidance systems.
9) If cooling system is installed, confirm system is operational and moving chilled water through the heat exchanger located
next to tank.
10) Review I-Press faults from yesterday, clear all faults and start with a clean screen
11) Confirm slide locking devices are working properly.
12) Before starting work, run slide and cushion and confirm smooth movement and stopping when buttons are released.
WEEKLY
1) Same as daily inspection
2) Inspect all fluid management connections on top of crown manifold, that no leaks are present.
3) Inspect all lubrication connection that no leaks are present.
4) Inspect hydraulic system filtration and confirm filter is clean.
5) Inspect airlines to slide locking devices.
6) Inspect slide guidance systems and confirm no score marks are present.
7) Inspect and confirm linear position transducers for slide and cushion are secure and in good condition.
8) Inspect max&min safety limits switches are secure and in position to prevent over travel of cylinders.
