IF ENCODER FAULT SHOWS ON MAIN RUN SCREEN, IT MAY BE THAT THE ENCODER AND ACTUAL CRANK POSITION ARE NO LONGER SYNCRONIZED.

5.) YOU HAVE NOW RE-ZEROED THE ENCODER TO MATCH THE SLIDE & CRANK POSITION

6.) INCH SLIDE BACK TO TDC.

7.) PUT MODE SELECTOR IN "SINGLE STROKE" AND MAKE (5) STROKES TO CONFIRM GOOD RUNNING CONDITION.

1.) MUST HAVE SUPERVISOR LEVEL-2 PASSWORD TO ACCESS THIS SCREEN.

2.) CHECK THE LED STROKE POSITION INDICATOR ON MAIN RUN SCREEN AND COMPARE THIS SLOCK TYPE MECHANICAL INDICATOR. OR INCH PRESS TO BDC AND CROSS CHECK INDICATORS, USE DIAL INDICATOR IF YOU ARE INSIRE THAT YOU ARE AT TRUE BDC POINT.

3.) TURN MODE SELECTOR TO "OFF" POSITION.

4.) PRESS "RE-ZERO" BUTTON AT UPPER RIGHT. THIS SETS ENCODER AT BDC (180 DEGREES).

THE PRESS MUST BE AT BDC (BOTTOM DEAD CENTER)

IF THE ENCODERS ARE RE-ZEROED AT ANY POSITION OTHER THAN BDC, PERSONNEL COULD BE AT RISK OF INJURY DUE TO THE LIGHT CURTAIN BEING MUTED ON THE DOWNSTROKE INSTEAD OF THE UPSTROKE.
